Abstracts Submission

Dear colleagues,

We are pleased to announce that the AGLIS Conference which will be held on 11-13 June 2025.

The conference will be held on site at the DIVANI METEORA HOTEL, co-organized with the Kalabaka Library and will be broadcasting online from the AGLIS Youtube channel.

Subject of the conference: “Democracy of Knowledge – Risks of misinformation”.

Knowledge democracy is an emerging concept that addresses the relationship between the production and dissemination of knowledge. Enriching trust in libraries, which play a key role in providing users with open access information in order to avoid misinformation on social media;

For your relevant preparation for the submission of papers, we inform you of the thematic fields of the 2025 EEBEP Conference:

  1. History and ethics of information
  2. Libraries and citizens: rights and responsibilities
  3. Information Literacy, Fake News and Pseudoscience
  4. Freedom of speech in research, education and the arts
  5. Democracy of knowledge, freedom of speech and information
  6. Sustainable Development and Libraries
  7. Documented information in medical libraries
  8. Libraries as places for collaboration, learning, and work
  9. Social media and misinformation
  10. Artificial intelligence
  11. Digitization of cultural heritage

Invites you to submit:

  1. Abstracts of papers (up to 500 words),
  2. Full articles (up to 15,000 words),
  3. Workshops (1-1.5 hours),
  4. Posters.

Papers may concern theoretical proposals, applications, case studies, technical studies, etc. Special sessions will be scheduled for undergraduate and postgraduate works
